HTTP 413 — Payload Too Large
4xx Client Error
What it means
The request body exceeds a limit the server imposes.
What to do about it
Raise the limit (client_max_body_size in nginx, upload_max_filesize in PHP), or have the client upload directly to object storage with a pre-signed URL.
Where it sits
413 belongs to the 4xx family: The request contains something the server will not or cannot process. The fix is normally on the client side.
